Save The Tapir
Let’s Do Our Part
In conjunction with National Day and Malaysia Day, we thought of doing something special in caring for our homeland. With that, we decided to join efforts to preserve one of her national treasures—the Malayan Tapir—through our Save The Tapir collection.
Malaysia Nature Society
|The collection is Tracey’s first ever collaboration with the Malaysian Natural Society (MNS) to help drive public awareness while raising funds to contribute to the NGO's tapir Conservation Fund.
For every Save The Tapir bag sold from August 1st to October 31st (3 months), 5% of the total sales of this collection will be donated to MNS' Tapir Conservation Fund.
These funds will be used to build tapirs’ translocation boxes to safely relocate them to their suited habitat, support World Tapir Day program, support research on tapirs, and other purposes to save the tapirs.
Together For The Better
Here at Tracey, we believe everyone (including you!) has the power to make a difference towards our environment. That is why this collaboration exists, giving us a chance to save the tapirs, together.
This collaboration is our small step towards making a positive impact on the environment in restoring our rain-forests’ ecosystems of our nation.

|The Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that works closely with Malaysia’s Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) in protecting and conserving the biodiversity of local flora and fauna.
For many years MNS orchestrated engagement activities and volunteering programs that welcome the involvement of the public. You can also donate directly to MNS’ programs and join them as a member by clicking the link below!
|The Department of Wildlife and National Parks Peninsular Malaysia or also known as PERHILITAN was established with the vision to spearhead wildlife conservation in Peninsular Malaysia.
The Sungai Dusun Wildlife Conservation Centre (PKHL Sg Dusun) is situated in Sungai Dusun Wildlife Reserve. The centre is managed by PERHILITAN and acts as a centre for ex-situ conservation of Malayan Tapirs.
Since 2004, 56 Malayan Tapirs have been rescued from snares and conflicted areas to ensure its survival.
A total of 19 Malayan Tapir were born in this centre and 14 of them have been released to their natural habitat.
