Our Candy Apple Flap Bag and Apple Toasties Top Handle Bag are made using apple leather, a unique material derived from apple waste generated after juicing. Through an extensive process of combining the apple waste with recycled polyester, cotton, and more; we give a second chance to what has been perceived as waste into a more conscious accessory you can bring along with you.

How is the Apple Leather Made?

Step 1
Apples are harvested from an orchard in Bolzano, a valley nestled among hills and vineyards set in Northern Italy.

Step 2
After juicing, the apple waste is repurposed for a second chance of life. 

Step 3
The apple waste are treated and ground into a fine, powdery substance. 

Step 4
The powder is mixed with harmless, non-toxic, organic pigment and transforms into bio-based leather that we use to craft the Apple Collection.
